The Norman Foster + Partners designed Edward P. Evans Hall, the new home of the Yale School of Management (SoM). We created visualizations for two 4x9 media walls and a digital signage system. The media installation was inaugurated at the three-day conference: Business + Society: Leadership in an Increasingly Complex World.
I was the lead designer of this project, from analyzing a simple Excel spreadsheet until everything’s up and running. To let the data shine, my design direction is to be minimal and modern. Color-coded data enables the information quick to digest and easy to follow, with a pallet in cohesion with the school’s branding. The result is complex global social and economic data converted into simple geometric shapes, moving and morphing, a compelling narrative.
